CARING FOR FERRETS

Although ferrets are extremely cute, and their small size makes people think they will be easier to care for than many other pets, they are actually very difficult to care for. They are also currently illegal in the District of Columbia and several states. 

Ferrets require such specialized care that there isn't space here to detail all of the housing requirements, exercise, nutritional, medical, behavioral, and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly care they require.
